Air Combat Beta Testing
I found that one problem with my game was that it was all national military vs national military. This resulted in all historic matchups like the Grumman F4F-4 Wildcat against the Mitsubishi A6M2 Model 21 Zero. Anyone versed in the history of aerial warfare with an ability to think in three dimensions, namely Sean Glynn recently, can use this to already know how to defeat the Zero by staying out of its range. By expertly managing his energy he defeated me time and time again by playing to the strengths of the Grumman which deny the Mitsubishi the ability to use it’s strengths. He was also always willing to play a new round with me and was constantly trying to push the limits of the rules to see how solid they were and for that I am grateful.
So what I am doing is creating a fictional company that will act as a Private Military Contractor. The Air Combat Expeditionary Squadron, or ACES, developed a modular way to produce aircraft, allowing scores of new aircraft to be made easily and cheaply.
